Hair transplant

Follicular unit extraction (FUE) is a type of hair transplantation where individual hair follicles are removed from your skin and transported to another part of your body where the hair thins or disappears.
FUE has become more popular than the follicular unit transplant (FUT) procedure, which leads to the appearance of" hair plugs ".
Surgeons use microfists to remove and move individual follicles, leaving almost no extraction signals.
Safety:
The FUE procedure is considered safe with possible minor side effects such as small white patches from where the follicles are removed. In very rare cases, infection or tissue death can occur at the site where the surgery is performed.
You may experience temporary side effects that disappear a few days after the treatment. Side effects may include swelling, bruising and tenderness.
Ease:
FUE is usually performed in 2 to 4-hour sessions over several days. In rare cases, a" mega session " can take 10 to 12 hours.
FUE is an outpatient procedure, so you can usually go home after each procedure.
After fue, you do not need to interrupt your daily routine too much. However, do not immerse the area in water or exercise hard for about a week.
Almost any type of surgeon is qualified to perform a hair transplant. You may want to consult a dermatologist who specialises in hair loss or is certified in hair transplants.

What is FUE hair transplantation?
Follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplantation is performed by removing individual hair follicles from your skin and implanting them into another part of your body. This will make the hair in the new area look thicker.

Fue was intended to replace the" classic " follicular unit transplant (FUT) technique. This procedure was done by removing a whole piece of skin or scalp along with the follicles and transplanting the skin into the target area.

FUE has become more popular than fut as it is less likely to result in a 'hair plug' where pieces of skin or hair do not match the surrounding areas. It also does not leave a large mark like fut.

The best candidate for an FUE hair transplant is someone whose hair is thinning or balding and who has enough hair nearby to use for a transplant.

If they do not have healthy or thick enough hair to be transplanted into the thinning or hairless area, they may not be suitable for an FUE hair transplant.

How does an FUE hair transplant work?
As we age, the three-phase cycle of hair growth and regrowth shortens until the follicles stop growing hair.

This process is different for everyone. Some people start balding in their 20s, while others go bald much later in life.

FUE hair transplants restore hair by replacing these old follicles with new follicles that can still grow hair.

After the transplant, the follicles are nourished by blood vessels and begin to grow hair in the area that was previously thin or bald.

Procedure for FUE hair transplantation
This is how the FUE procedure works:

Your surgeon shaves the hair in the area where follicles are being removed, as well as in the area of the transplant.
They use a micropunch tool to remove follicles from your skin.
Your surgeon will then use a needle or other small, sharp tool to make a series of tiny incisions into which the extracted follicles will be inserted.
They will insert the follicles into the incisions.
Your surgeon will clean and bandage the area for recovery.
Target areas for treatment
FUE hair transplants are most commonly performed on the scalp.

They can also be performed on other areas of your body where hair is thin or missing. FUE can be performed on arms, legs and even the genital area.

What you can expect after an FUE hair transplant.
Recovery from FUE is fast. You may have swelling or discomfort for about 3 days.

Here are some aftercare instructions your doctor may give you:

Do not wash your hair or shower for at least 3 days.
Use gentle, odourless shampoos for a few weeks once you start washing your hair.
Take a few days off to speed up healing.
Do not comb or brush your new hair for at least 3 weeks.
Do not wear hats, caps or other clothing that goes over your head until your doctor says it is okay.
Do at least
